ROY ROGERS Dale Evans original art cover PRAYER BOOK 1956 comic Big Golden book

gorgeous original art for the cover of the classic and well known book, Dale Evans Prayer Book for Children which stayed in print for decades.
The art board is about 27" wide and the art itself is about 20" wide. Interestingly, the first version of the art showed Roy on the back cover. A paste over text box was used to cover him but it fell off over the years but it is STILL HERE. Looks better without it though--although NOTE that glue stain remains from the paste over.
Also included is an excellent copy of the book --probably not a first edition.
Art has markings and condition issues consistent with all commercial art.
